We want fresh, locally grown veg to be affordable and accessible for everyone.

What is it?

Solidarity Schemes help local communities to support one another by asking that those who are able pay a little extra, subsidising veg for those who need it. We think community-led co-operation can help tackle inequalities in the food system (we hope you do, too!).

Our scheme offers a discount on veg bags for anyone who feels that they would otherwise be unable to afford our produce.

Supported by donations from other veg bag members, we forming are part of a Solidarity Economy - prioritising social, environmental and community wellbeing.

Whether you pay into the scheme, or take out of it, we are working together as local community members break down some of the barriers to accessing fresh, locally grown, organic fruit and veg in Enfield.

£3 Solidarity Payment

Want to join?

If you feel you would like and are able to pay into the solidarity scheme, simply add a weekly Solidarity Payment to your basket.

You can pay £3, £5 or £10 per week (or a combination of these). All this money will go directly to subsidising bags for your neighbours who have requested the discount.

You can also donate your order while you're away - head to 'Holiday' in your account to do so.

£5 Solidarity Payment

If you would benefit from the discount, sign up here. The Solidarity Scheme is not means tested - it's available if you feel you need it.

The standard discount is around 30%, so a Small Veg would be £4.90, and an Extra-Large Veg Bag would be £13.65.

If this still feels unaffordable, please get in touch anyway and we can discuss options. Bear in mind the discounts we can offer are subsidised by the solidarity payments we receive, so there could be a waiting list, depending on how much we receive.
