Frequently Asked Questions

How do I swap items?

You can now swap up to two items of veg in every L and XL veg bag.

  1. Head to your basket, and click on the 'swap' arrows to the left of individual veg items.
  2. Select a different vegetable from the drop down menu (note that some items will incur an additional cost depending on the value of the item being swapped out).
  3. Enjoy your customised veg bag :)

Can I choose the contents of my veg bag?

Every veg bag can have up to two swaps. You can also choose from a range of weekly extras.

When can I see what is in the veg bags each week?

You can see what is available each week between Thursday and Sunday. What is in the bags varies seasonally.

Where and when will my bag be delivered?

Your bag will be delivered to your chosen collection point on Wednesdays, and will be ready to collect by early afternoon. You can view the different collection points and when they are open here.

When can I make changes to my basket?

You can make changes until 11pm on Sunday via the website. We pick and pack your veg on Monday and Tuesday, then deliver it on Wednesday.

How do I pick up my bag?

Once your order is finalised, you will be sent an email on Monday with access details for your chosen pick-up point, such as any lock codes or directions.

Feel free to email us if you are still unsure after Monday.

What do I need to do if I have a recurring order?

Nothing. Anything in your basket is automatically confirmed on Sunday evening.

I want to eat organic veg, but I can't afford a veg bag.

Consider joining our Solidarity Scheme, which has a 30% discount on fruit and veg bags. Check your eligibility and full details on the page.

What can I cook with my veg?

We send out regular, seasonal recipes with your veg order. Plus, you can also visit our recipe pages to find many more seasonal recipes, all using produce from our bags.

What if I can't collect my bag one week?

We have a 'Holiday' system where you can mark down any days you are away, and we won't deliver.

You'll find this in page 'Holiday Management' (accessible through your account once logged in).

There's also the option to donate to our Solidarity Scheme when you are away (simply switch the toggle in your holiday settings).

Where does my veg come from?

All the fruit and veg we pack into our bags is organic, seasonal, and we aim to source it as locally as possible. Over the course of the year, around half of the veg comes from Forty Hall Farm in Enfield, and the rest of the veg is sourced from other certified organic sellers. Some of these sellers are also local, and the produce is grown in S-E England, or elsewhere in the UK.

In order to provide a varied veg bag throughout the year, we also source fruit and veg from abroad. For example, we have banana suppliers in the Dominican Republic and orange suppliers in Spain.
