A quick and simple recipe from Jamie Oliver.


Ingredients:

• 2 teaspoons nigella seeds
• 1 large carrot
• 250 g natural yoghurt
• ½ a lemon
• extra virgin olive oil (optional)

Method:

  1. Toast the nigella seeds in a non-stick pan until smelling fantastic.
  2. Wash the carrot, then coarsely grate into a bowl.
  3. Add the natural yoghurt and nigella seeds.
  4. Squeeze in the lemon juice and mix.
  5. Season to perfection, tasting and tweaking.
  6. Finish with a kiss of extra virgin olive oil, if you like, then cover and refrigerate until needed.
