Get summer started at Forty Hall Farm’s biggest-ever plant sale:

The market gardeners have been hard at work over the last few weeks raising thousands of plants from seed, in order to offer the best possible range of veg, herbs and flowers for your garden, allotment, patio containers or even window boxes.


Forty Hall Farm throws open its gates this May for its largest-ever plant sale, inviting Londoners to kick-start the growing season with thousands of organically grown plants, expert knowledge, and a vibrant weekend atmosphere.

Taking place on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 May 2026, it will transform the farmyard into a bustling hub for gardeners, growers and families alike.

The farm’s Market Garden team has raised thousands of plants from seed, offering an exceptional range of organic vegetables, herbs and flowers suited to everything from allotments and gardens to balconies and window boxes.

Visitors can expect a fantastic selection, including:

  • Blight-resistant tomatoes, from colourful cherry varieties to classic beefsteaks
  • Courgettes, squash and pumpkins, from Halloween carvers to miniature squashes
  • Hardy brassicas such as kale, cabbage and cauliflower for harvesting through winter
  • Sweetcorn, peas, green beans and chillies
  • Cucumbers, melons, gherkins and cucamelons
  • Mixed salad leaves and fragrant herbs
  • A striking array of flowers, including snapdragons, zinnias, sweet peas and sunflowers—perfect for pollinators
  • A comprehensive range of organic seeds to grow at home


Many varieties are rare, heritage or hard to find elsewhere, making the sale a must-visit for both seasoned growers and beginners.

Weekend highlights:

Saturday 9 May offers the first pick of the plants, alongside:

  • Neapolitan pizza from Pizza Gig
  • Forty Hall Farm fresh coffee
  • Organic farm-grown vegetables
  • Wine by the glass and bottle from Forty Hall Vineyard


Sunday 10 May coincides with the popular Forty Hall Farmers’ Market, featuring:

  • Herbaceous perennials from local nursery Glebe
  • Over 30 street food stalls
  • A wide range of local produce, including meat, cheese, baked goods, honey, preserves and more
