Join us in the farmyard on Sunday 11th May for the 2025 Plant Sale, a brand new event at the Forty Hall Farmers’ Market, a thriving monthly community event here at Forty Hall Farm, Enfield.

The market gardeners have been hard at work over the last few weeks raising thousands of plants from seed, in order to offer the best possible range of veg, herbs and flowers for your garden, allotment, patio containers or even window boxes.

The growers have chosen many of their favourite varieties, including rare, unusual and heritage varieties, that you may not find elsewhere, including:
  • A wide range of tomatoes, from cherries to beefsteaks
  • Courgettes, squash and pumpkins – from mini varieties to traditional Halloween types
  • Mixed packs of lettuce for vibrant bowls of salad
  • Fragrant herb pots
  • Mixed packs of brassicas, to keep you supplied with greens from autumn through to spring
  • Sweetcorn, peas, french beans, cucumbers and chillies
  • Mixed flower packs, including dwarf-growing selections (great for pots and containers), beautiful snapdragons, a selection of taller growing varieties (great for borders and for cutting) and insect-friendly selections (to attract more beneficial insects into your garden.

There will also be top quality herbaceous perennials from local independent nursery Glebe.

Come fill your bag with local produce direct from the makers and growers including veg, flowers, meat and wine from the farm plus artisan cheese, pies, honey, preserves and bakery.
