Bag of organic, UK grown perpetual spinach.
Part of the chard/beet family - this leafy green has large succulent leaves and stem. It is known as 'Perpetual' Spinach because it can be harvested all year round- hardy enough to withstand our UK winters.
At Forty Hall Farm, we grow the leaves under our polytunnels during the winter so they are tender and succulent. During the warmer months, we source the leaves from other local growers who are growing their crops in outside beds where they can soak up the sun.
